Description Fingerprint jewellery is a wonderful gift for the Impressive men & women in your life. This fingerprint keyring is created in sterling silver with a base metal split ring & keyring fob. There is also an option to have a soldered silver jump ring added if you wish. The fingerprints from your loved ones are captured using putty impressions which I then press into the sterling silver. Keep loved ones close with this bespoke jewellery item. The reverse of the charm can be hand engraved with a special word or date as an extra personal touch. Small – Measuring approx 16mm long and can have 6 characters on the reverse. (One print on front) Medium – Measuring approx 22mm long and can have 9 characters on the reverse. (One print on front) Large – Measuring approx 26mm (max weight 7g) and can have 12 characters on the reverse. (One print or two small child-sized prints will fit on a large charm but may only be partially visible or overlap) You can take the fingerprints at home using the FREE PUTTY PRINT KIT that can be posted out to you, or book an appointment with me and I can do this for you. You may already have a putty print of a loved one’s fingerprint – so long as it is clear I will be able to use this, you are welcome to send these to me to use. What happens after I order? When you need a putty kit… When you place an order your element kit will be prepared and posted to you, if you’ve asked for one. Kits are posted on Tuesdays & Thursdays by 2nd class mail. Once you have created your prints and returned them in your prepaid envelope, you will be emailed to confirm they have arrived back safely and are suitable to use. You will then be sent a form to complete with the details needed. *Any prints stored here at Impressive Memories will only be used with the written permission of the person that paid for the prints to be created. It is better to arrange this permission before ordering. When you already have a print… If you already have the putty prints you will not need to be sent a kit. These take a detailed imprint of the fingerprint. Your kit will contain a special reusable compound. All instructions are sent with your kit. One putty kit has enough putty to create 2 small fingerprints or 1 larger fingerprint. Notes about fingerprints: Children develop fingerprints at different ages. We recommend fingerprint jewellery for children over the age of 12 months, older children and adults. For children under 12 months, you might prefer the hand and footprint range.
